Can anyone explain why this is any different than a cop walking a beat or a patrol car cruising your neighborhood? Right wing paranoia is what I see. Because a copy walking a beat or in a patrol car can't see into my private backyard. That's the difference.

It also has to do with the fact that Afghan Pilots are FAMILIAR with Mi-8 & Mi-17 copters. That's what they have always flown, when they had a military. They also flew Migs. That is the consideration for buying Russian birds.
